Oracle EBS and Fusion Techno functional Consultant
Description
- Understands and analyses business requirements from a functional perspective and efficiently translate these requirements into the relevant technical design, implementation and documentation.
- Identifies and resolve key issues related to code change requirements and bug fixes
- Actively involved in knowledge transfer both within the Oracle team and to end users.
- Organizes and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical
- Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
- Provides in-depth technical and functional solution to Business Unit and IT management and ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Performance tuning of custom code
- Constantly monitor code and jobs to optimize performance
- Troubleshooting code
- Working across environments {Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, Oracle FMW and Oracle databases}
- Follow change control process
- Supporting users, daily, weekly and monthly activities
- Taking ownership of technical issues
- Technical Architect on oracle technologies {Oracle Fusion, Oracle FMW, Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS and Oracle databases}
- Implementation of Pro-active maintenance
- End to end troubleshooting between products integrating into Oracle
- Knowledge of Oracle troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of Oracle Support process
- Supporting functional team in root cause analysis
- Training the onsite team and mentoring the Juniors
Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Professional
- SQL certified
- Advance SQL certification – advantage
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Excellent Technical Troubleshooting experience
- Strong technical knowledge in SQL and PL-SQL { Able to write efficient SQL’s in Oracle is a must} OCP SQL
- Technical knowledge of: Oracle DB, PL/SQL, SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle APIs, Oracle Interfaces, Oracle workflow
- Experience in Fusion Middleware customizations
- Experience in Oracle linux
- Linux scripting knowledge
- 5 years’ experience in Oracle EBS
- experience in Oracle Fusion & Oracle Cloud
- experience with Oracle developer & development tools
- Be able to work overtime and standby when required
- Be able to work both in a team and alone
- Report on progress and raise issues / problems when necessary
- Working during South African working hours {Monday to Friday}
