Description
Our organisation is looking for a Django REST Framework Developer who is extremely knowledgeable and a driven individual to assist the organization in designing and programming web applications. You will look after the developing backend code which efficiently and effectively interfaces with front end code to transact data. You will need to liaise with front end developers extremely regularly, so being a good communicator and collaborator is extremely important.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders and fellow developers
- Design and implement Python code using the Django framework
- Design and implement functional requirements
- Build efficient back-end features in Django/Python
- Help integrating front-end components into applications
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Manage the security of the platform
- Prepare technical documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
Qualifications
- Solid experience as Django and Python Developer for 3-4 years
- Experience with Django Python frameworks and supporting modules
- Familiarity with social platforms login/interaction integration
- Familiarity with payment gateways integration
- Understanding of databases and SQL
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus
- Knowledge of Flutter is a plus
- Attention to detail - Leadership skills
